Godrej Properties unveiled its upcoming residential project, Godrej Bandra Bay, with a massive floating logo display along Mumbai’s coastline. The installation stretched across 30,000 square feet near Bandra Bay, constructed over three days using 2,500 pontoons and powered by 15 floating generators. Under the campaign slogan “Your Sanctuary by the Bay,” the developer framed the Arabian Sea as the project’s central attraction rather than just a scenic addition. The event showcased how waterfront living would shape the development’s identity.

The logo reveal on October 28, 2026 involved a crew of 50 workers and 250 halogen lights to assemble the floating formation. Unlike standard launches tied to buildings or event spaces, this approach showed the project’s direct proximity to the sea, located adjacent to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The site, at Bandra Reclamation, is recognized for its prime waterfront access, reinforcing the project’s coastal appeal.

Simultaneously, the developer is advancing plans to revitalize Mumbai’s coastline through a promenade initiative. Details were first disclosed in a October 7, 2026 stock-exchange filing, outlining a phased transformation of underutilized bayfront land into public amenities. Phase one will introduce a walking path, landscaped gardens, a pet park, and an amphitheater, while phase two will incorporate mini-golf and sports facilities. The collaboration involves the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Godrej Properties, and RC Group, merging private and municipal efforts to reshape the waterfront.

Rohit Mohan, Godrej Properties’ Chief Design and Sustainability Officer, highlighted that the promenade will emphasize durability and minimal upkeep. Vishwas Mote, the BMC’s Deputy Municipal Commissioner for Zone III, described the initiative as a way to support community interaction. Specifics about the residential project, including unit designs or possession deadlines, were not included in the launch materials, leaving those aspects pending further announcements.
