Terms of Service

Account Termination: Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting our Contact Us page, which will result in the deactivation of all associated services. Newsweek Insights reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or breach applicable laws. Upon termination, users will lose access to personalized data, saved analyses, and exclusive market insights. However, non-personalized content, such as publicly shared articles or aggregated reports, may remain accessible to other users. A 30-day notice period applies for accounts with active subscriptions, during which users may export their data for archival purposes.

Content Removal: Users retain the right to request the removal of their personally identifiable information or user-generated content at any time. Such requests will be processed within 15 business days, subject to legal obligations and the need to preserve audit trails for compliance. Automated systems may also remove content that violates community guidelines, including hate speech, defamatory statements, or unauthorized use of proprietary data. Content removal does not guarantee the erasure of backups or cached copies, which may be retained for up to 90 days for technical and legal review purposes.

Data Handling: Newsweek Insights collects and processes user data—including but not limited to login credentials, payment information, and behavioral analytics—to deliver personalized real estate insights and improve platform functionality. All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls, with backups maintained in geographically dispersed servers. Users may opt out of non-essential data collection via their account settings, though this may limit the accuracy of market predictions or tailored recommendations. Data is not sold to third parties, but may be shared with trusted partners for anonymized research or compliance with legal requests.

Retention and Compliance: User data will be retained for the duration of the account’s active status and for an additional 12 months post-termination, unless required by law or for unresolved disputes. Newsweek Insights complies with applicable data protection regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and ensures transparency in data usage through regular audits. Users may request a copy of their data or its deletion, subject to the same 30-day notice period for active accounts and 15 days for inactive ones. These policies are reviewed annually to align with evolving legal and market standards.

Changes to Terms: These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in service offerings, legal requirements, or technological advancements. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notifications, with a 30-day grace period to review and accept updates. Continued use of the platform after such notifications constitutes acceptance. For questions or disputes, users are directed to the Contact Us page, where our compliance team will address concerns with the precision expected by professionals in the real estate investment sector.
